Dr. Mirabile graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1983 and started his private practice on Wall St. After twelve years in NYC, he relocated to Negril, Jamaica where he lived for 7 years the Caribbean before relocating to Mt. Pleasant .
The orientation of his practice is Preventative and Behavioral Optometry.
Vision is more then 20/20 and many people confuse clarity with efficiency. Special near point testing is used to determine how the eyes perform during reading. Sometimes special prescriptions can help to prevent and control the eyes from getting more nearsighted, while other prescriptions aid in better visual efficiency.
Dr. Mirabile is a member of the American Optometric Association and the South Carolina Optometric Association.
When not practicing optometry, Dr. Mirabile enjoys boating and travel.
